Socio Economic Survey of the members of the Ethnic Press and Media

Dear friends and colleagues, Sisters and Brothers in the Ethnic Press and Media:

As I explained in my previous emails, my office was negotiating with Seneca College for contacting a socio-economic survey on the status of the members of the sector. Today, I am in a position to assure you all that this project is underway as we do have the questioner prepared by the College and accepted by the Department of Canadian Heritage, Periodical Publishing Policy Programs. To this extend effective immediately we start the project which I am asking you all to respond as soon as possible and return back to my office. We do have limited time only to complete this project as it has to be over for submission by the end of June.

Taking this opportunity I want to assure you that based on the results of this survey my office is going to work towards the recognition of your needs and will try to bring as much comfort to the sector, as possible. It is therefore to the benefit of every member to complete the questioner and either emailed back to us or mailed by Canada Post.

Please download the attached file to your computer, save it in a file and then completed it all the questions or if you don’t want some you don’t and mailed back to us.

Ms. Asha Rajak, Maria Voutsinas are going to be responsible for Ontario and Quebec, Maura de Freitas for British Columbia, Than Nguyen for Alberta and Helen Wong for Manitoba.

Please make sure you are included, it is for your benefits, your future, your progress.

Thanking you in advance,

Thomas S. Saras
